The Project

Young Everyman Theatre

How do you market something that doesn’t really want any marketing? That was the predicament that faced me when asked to contribute to ‘The Project’, a series of guerilla style performances by the Young Everyman Theatre Company. The answer was to make a very scaled back design, that had icon relating to the event and would appear in areas just as performance where taking place. Business cards where strategically placed with a mysterious phone number, if you rang it, you found out where and when the next event was taking place. The whole thing gave an air of exclusivity and excitement. Though we made it look spontaneous a lot of careful planning made sure we had just the right audience to witness each performance. If you didn’t see, you just need to be cooler next time.
